Innovative Joins Northrop Grumman's Guardrail Team

Eatontown, NJ - Innovative Applied Sciences continues Guardrail support with Northrop Grumman IT (NGIT).

Guardrail is the Army's most successful signal intelligence (SIGINT) targeting, collection, and reporting system in the world. This airborne SIGINT system provides operational commanders with near real-time intelligence, precise geo-location data and persistent targeting information. It has been deployed for over 35 years, undergoing several major modernization initiatives throughout during its lifecycle, and thousands of individual enhancements. Guradrail has been supported and maintained by Northrop Grumman for over a decade. Furthermore, Guardrail's state-of the- art technology supplies the foundation for meeting future mission requirements.

Innovative Applied Sciences has been working on various Guardrail systems for over 10 years and is now bringing to Northrop Grumman in-depth knowledge of real-time system development and field experience." according to Barry Tahlor, Innovative's CTO. "Guardrail is a strategic program for the US Army and we committed to supporting NGIT on this program through the life extension initiatives recently launched. Innovative will continue to be a key contributor of Guradrail system enhancements, delivering our engineering services from design through development and field testing on a global basis."

Under the terms of the contract, Innovative Applied Sciences will provide technical support services to NGIT that includes network, application, operating system, database and security support and administration.
